Registration is closed. The Recoil Rally has stopped accepting applications with six Crews participating: 288, 625, 641, 994, 7777, and 8880 from the Cherokee-Pickens District. All crews have indicated that they will be competing for the brand new Ruger 10/22 rifle as well as participating in the various other shooting activities Friday evening and all day Saturday (May 7-8, 2010). If your crew missed out on the 2010 Recoil Rally, keep an eye out for future events at this web site.

Recoil Rally Tally: No open slots remaining! We're FULL, but we are still accepting Crews on the waiting list. If a Crew on the waiting list can pay for their slots before existing Crews that have signed up but not paid, then the slots will transfer to the Crews paying to reserve their slots first. So if your Crew is signed up, but yet to lock in your reservation with a check to the address shown below, you need to take care of this ASAP. Crews with confirmed (paid) slots are Crew 7777, Crew 641, and Crew 8880. Several other Crews have claimed slots but have yet to lock them in with a check.

  • Registration and payment is due by midnight on April 30, 2010
  • No late registrations or walk-ins will be accepted
  • Attendance is $7.00 per person (mothers get in for free!)
  • Hot meal is an additional $4.00 per person (optional)
  • Buy into the shooting competition to win the rifle. $4.00 per person (optional)
  • Make your non-refundable check payable to "Crew 8880"
  • Mail checks to "P.O. Box 4261, Canton, GA 30114"
  • Attendees are expected to bring their own eye and ear protection
  • Registration is open to Cherokee/Pickens District Crews only
  • To shoot handguns, attendees must have proof of completion of the NRA Basic Pistol Course (youth and adult)
 

 

Crew members wishing to obtain the NRA Basic Pistol Certification later in 2010 should watch this site for registration information.
